"Yet another tinpot airline."

Yet another tinpot airline who likes to leave their customers stranded, flight cancelled 4 hours before take off, no alternative flights available, it's like they decided, we don't want to fly there anymore!! Belfast to Southampton, can't get through on the number provided, and upto 90 days for a refund... Absolutely taking the pi**!..
EDIT: Just found out that all flights where cancelled on this route till February 23,this was announced on the 11th of November, yet they still took the booking fee on the 22nd of November.

"Staff good - App rubbish"

I disagree with the large number of reviews criticising the staff who we found to be courteous and helpful and who deserve more than the 2 stars I have given here - but the Flybe "experience" was dragged through the mud by the appalling Flybe app which dutifully displayed our boarding passes right up to the time they were actually needed when they disappeared - and then denied that we had any bookings. We wasted a lot of time trying to get the app to make sense - but failed and so fell back on getting the airport pass printers to get printed copies - which also failed to work - more time lost and we only got on the plane with moments to spare thanks to the calm and courteous help of the check in staff (Yes we HAD pre checked in but it was the only point of reference left to us) and a mad dash through Heathrow's Terminal 2 - which at our advanced ages was quite stressful (albeit probably comical to watch)
So - staff good, plane OK but app shoukd be prefixed.

Charged £35 for a cabin bag that has travelled with me so many times.1st time flying with Flybe and will be my last. Flight prices more expensive than other airlines and the plane itself should be in a museum. Very scruffy looking material. We were also 20 minutes late in taking off. Will not be booking with them again.

"Good riddance Flybe"

If possible I would give no stars. I'm sure I speak for many when I say I am happy that Flybe are in financial ruin and hope that it collapses as an airline. They were always in financial difficulty, so this collapse confirms that they tried to save their own neck by scamming passengers. They tried to rip us off by changing the cabin baggage size. Most people will be glad to see the end of Flybe. Good riddance.

"Cancelled flight refund"

In December I received an email saying FlyBe had cancelled a flight I was booked on in March 20 & to claim a refund. I claimed the refund as directed... to date (6/1/20) I have not received my refund. On contacting FlyBe they say that my refund will be by a voucher for a future FlyBe flight (valid for one year). Given regular shocking service from FlyBe I would much rather receive a full refund!! Total con FlyBe - never fail to disappoint your customers. I will avoid flying FlyBe whenever possible

"The bleeding anus of budget airlines"

Out of 3 trips between Manchester and Southampton in the last 6 months, all have been delayed. I have been stung with an additional £35 charge for baggage two out of the three trips because millimetres of my carry on bag was outside of their policy. Their policies are approaching fraudulent and I resent parting with any money to these air pirates when they can’t even properly arrange a flight to leave on time. For anyone who thinks the uk rail companies are poor, I implore you to give this absolute shambles a go. I live in eager awaiting for the day this company goes into liquidation, I will be cracking a bottle open when the news breaks. Do yourself a favour and travel alternatively, even via horseback would be preferable.

"NEVER FLYBE"

After closing the gate on our faces in the flight from Paris to Manchester (we've been in the toilets and when we came back after 2 min they closed the gates , while the passengers still go on the bus and didn't want to let us in, we had to buy 2 tickets with another company) on the way back, after reading all the HORRIBLE reviews i decided to be the first in line to enter the airplane.... this time they stoped me claiming that i have 90 days visa to be in France with my Israeli passport . they wanted to see a flying ticket out of France. i said that i have 90 days to buy a ticket, i can take a train in europe, car, covoiturage, there's lots of ways to go out of paris, and IT'S Not their got damne business!!! my passeport was valide, i came lots of times to England with it and never had a problem. From this moment the stuff wasn't kind at all, they decided i don't have the documents and just left me with no help , saying that anyway i'm not going on this flight. tried to speak with a manager but same here, i was talking to walls! tried to get the name of the manager and his team, nobody wanted to give his name, i told them that they give a service and they have to identify themselves ,"well, you can complain", that what they told me. this is a COMPANY POLICY to get your money and not give service. even when there's problems they could have been humain and kind , but no! Anyway, just to show you that everything they wanted from me is bulshit... I bought another flight with air france , i asked before if they see a problem with my passeport or my documents, of course all was ok, nobody wanted to see if i leave France in the next 90 days, they where kind and professional. so there wasn't a problem apparently . When i told my story to friends in Manchester they told me that the company was saved by the government from bankruptcy. it explained why they over book and try to make sure people will lose their flight. i pity this airline company and hope they'll vanish and go out of business , i never was traumatised like that. NEVER FLYBE #neverflybe

"Will scam you on hand luggage"

Used the same cabin bag for years on many airlines but when I went to fly with flybe from Exeter airport I got to the check-in and they wouldn’t let me though without paying a £40 fee because apparently my bag was oversized. There was a family behind me two adults and three small children they all had small hand luggage with them and they also charged them all £40 each as well. Its £40 each way so between just me and the family behind they got an additional £480 out of us so imagine what they make out of everyone with this scam. I have flown many times since with the same bag and never had any problems but I haven’t and will never use flybe again even if it means I have to drive further to another airport. A terrible airline to be avoided at all costs, hopefully they will go bust soon so this scam ends.

"Absolutely TERRIBLE airline."

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. The staff for this airline are disgustingly rude. I would never fly with this airline ever again, the worst experience I’ve ever had with an airline. Me and my partner had perfectly sized hand baggage which fit into the over head storage, after checking in with a PURPLE HAND BAGGAGE ticket on my bag the lady when boarding our flight told me it is too big. Bearing in mind We had literally just come off a FLYBE flight a few days before & used the same bags she insisted it was too big, after proving her wrong and that the size was completely suitable for the over head storage, she did not care to apologise for the scene she had caused. When we was on the plane a lady in front was turning off her phone ready for the flight to take off and the air hostess with the name “Alicia” spoke to the lady who was probably double her age, in such a disgusting manor. The only way to describe this situation was like a teacher telling off a naughty child, they have no idea what customer service is! The staff stand watching you & your hand baggage waiting to see if they can blag someone money for extra baggage using a baggage allowance stand which is NOT the same size as the over head storage. DO NOT FLY WITH AIRLINE!!!!

"If possible to give NO STARS"

If possible to give NO STARS - I WOULD ! DISGRACEFUL . RIP OFF AIR LINE . BEWARE LUGGAGE POLICY. THE CABIN SIZE ALLOWANCE IS 55 X 35 X 20 .. ALL OTHER REPTUABLE AIR LINES SUCH AS EASY JET AND RYAN AIR ARE 55 X 40 OR 45 X 20 OR 25 . THE 5 CM DIFFERENCE WILL COST YOU DEARLY. THEY ARE SET UP TO ROB YOU - CREDIT CARD MACHINE AT THE READY … £35 EACH PASSENGER - THATS ONE WAY !! WILL NEVER EVER FLY WITH THEM AGAIN . THIS NEEDS INVESTIGATION ..THEY NEED STRIKING OFF .
