"For Beginners Only"

I have been contacted before by someone I "know" encouraging me to sign up on Alignable. Just happened again this week, and I noticed this time a notice telling me the offer would "expire in 24 hours". Now why would that be if it was simply a referral to a cool new website? It wouldn't. Notice also that all the positive reviews on ' ' are WAY over the top, managing to hit all the key "marketing" points without citing specific and quantifiable results for their particular business. Not saying this is a complete scam, but no real online networking site I've ever seen acts this way. Real web service companies - the legitimate and useful ones like 'Mail Monkey' who ask for your contact list etc. are open about what they do (usually email management and promo activities), and about what they charge for their service. 'Alignable' is pretending to be something it is not. IMO, if anyone really needs this "service" to meet people in their area of work, then they are beginners, and will look back one day on this experience as part of their gullible early years. Seriously.

"Alignable.com a huge online Asset to every business!"

Alignable.com has really been a tremendous aid to our company and to others that we know. Its an ingenious platform that has made us way more aware of many other businesses and services in our community, has quadrupled our web traffic, introduced us to important people in our industry and allowed us to make many new friends! In addition we have been able to have important business questions as well as received advice from other professional in our and other industries. Also have been able to announce promos or services we offer to the whole business community! Very impressed with this platform. Now just need to devote lil more time to be "˜all in'. I have to say, I don't play on social media much unless it helps my business grow. Gabe and Joanna are real people (didn't know if they were at first) making a difference by efficiently connecting others to your base. They work a lot like BNI if a chapter was online (only comparison I have). What I have found it a better way to connect to people that you can help or that can help you. I haven't even started yet and I already have some really great contacts that have brought me referrals. As for Gabe and Joanna, they are the glue that holds it together. "Alignable asking full email account access"

Any company asking for access to my email account should get blocked instead. Giving anyone, specially completely unknown to you, full email account access is a enormous security risk and I still can wrap my head around why would someone give them such a permission. I won't even cover, how useless this service as referral platform is. When I see these 5 star reviews IMHO they are fake.

This network does not allow exploring its solution without giving access to one's email account. It also does not give a way to ensure all your personally collected data has been removed from their system upon deactivation of one's account. Horrible UI, confusing purpose, poor execution.

joined back in December and it's been great. I've tried Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, and even Instagram and nothing really compares for meeting other locals who actually CARE. Also the team there is great, you can tell your Community Manager actually cares and wants to help.
