Ordered some jeans online in size 12 to be delivered to the nearest store, come in to find out they delivered size 20 instead of a size 12, I dont know how 20 sounds like 12, person who was picking the order obviously cant read or doesnt know the numbers and now I will have to wait up to 7 days to get my money refunded on to my card, what an absolute joke.

"Swindling customers who use gift cards online"

I placed an order online and paid £176.29 on my credit card and £40 on a gift card. I returned £167.31 worth of items. I was expecting this to be refunded to my credit card, as has always been the case whenever I have used a combination of cards/cash and a gift card with other retailers. Instead, the refund is set to put £40 back on my gift card and refund only £127.31 to my account. I contacted New Look about this they told me that what I was asking them to do was illegally money laundering! This is plainly not the case - the law would only be broken if more than £176.29 were returned to my account. I now have to spend the gift card by ordering £40 or less worth of items to ensure they won't take my money instead! To add to this, I just tried to do that and bumped my total up to £50 to get the free collect+ delivery, but they have informed me they do not include sale items in the total required for free delivery. A really cynical company using weird policies to catch customers out or charge them as much as possible, and with customer support who are rude and so clueless that they try to tell you you are attempting to illegally money launder when you ask them to refund you! I will stick to ASOS and the other successful online retailers who have straightforward policies and support and don't try and swindle their customers!
