Two girls were not great asked for deep clean.still found heavy dust in areas of skirting and on edges of floor, toilet window not cleaned properly.couldnt be bothered to do everything or they dont know how??? Thanks molly maid....

"I would strongly advise you not to use"

I would strongly advise you not to use Molly Maid. I was given a verbal quote by Tracy Dolan on the phone of up to £250 to clean my parent's house which is 133 square metres including a deep clean of the kitchen. she has since claimed the price was quoted as £250 - £350. She also failed to mention that the price quoted does not include VAT. Her maids were scheduled to arrive at 09.30 but didn't arrive until 10.20. Despite us phoning to ask where they were no apology was given. To give you an idea how extortionate this is let me compare the cost of Molly Maid to the cost incurred by hotels for instance for cleaning. A hotel room attendant is paid up to £9.68 per hour which include N.I. They will clean a room thoroughly (standard room is circa 25 sq. m) in around half an hour. My parent's house is 133 sq metres or 5.3 hotel rooms. The hotel incurs a cost of £26.60 in total ex holiday pay. Molly Maid charged £350.00 or £66.00 per room!!! They wouldn't confirm the actual hours spent cleaning. In short you are literally being taken to the cleaners by Molly Maid. Don't for pity sake use them. Find a good local cleaner on gumtree and pay them a fair price.

"Molly Maid - don't waste your money"

Booked Molly Maid for a Spring clean and was promised the following would be deep cleaned, kitchen cupboard doors, leather furniture, walls wiped, furniture moved, floors cleaned according to their covering (I.e Amtico) even light fittings would be cleaned, I was quoted £280 and was told to expect the team of two to be with me for approx 6 hours. The team turned up at 11 and left at 1430, none of the above was performed, in fact I was appalled at the results. At best I can describe as a basic dust and hoover, far from a deep clean! I complained vigorously and sent photographic evidence of the poor service and was given a refund of £40! If anyone is considering using this company, I would urge you to think again. They oversell and under delivery and in my opinion are a rip off!

"Smashed Draw and Poor Cleaning"

Smashed Draw and Poor Cleaning We pay £98 for a clean EVERY 2 weeks, where we are suppose to receive a 'deep clean' ( I would call it more of speed clean) as nothing is ever dusted properly, bathrooms are never cleaned properly (our last straw came when the main family bathroom sink had a few of my beard hairs and the toilet hadn't been touched) and the Kitchen floor is never moped properly. We had previously spoke to the Leicester North & Loughborough franchise about this and they sent the same cleaners who made a comment of 'leave us a note instead of telling the office' in which we did as we wanted to a build a friendly relationship with the cleaners however they didn't take the next 5 notes into consideration and kept doing the same thing in which we asked them directly and said it is because we have our window open as we are in a new build property (never have it open because it has been so cold). The worst part of it all is that they have smashed a £500 side draw and denied all parts as they had moved the draw right up to the bed in which we didn't notice until a week later when we were changing the bed sheets. We checked for glass on the floor and there wasn't a single shard and for saying a chunk is missing out of the back i would expect it to be there if we had done it... no glass nothing and pushed tightly to the bed (not suspicious). Refused to take responsibility even though it would be easier to get it sorted through the home insurance if we had smashed it but yet again MOLLY MAID lives up to their bad reputation. Key things to take note if you want to hire them: They will clean a 5 bedroom house in an hour and half if your lucky (sometimes longer if they are expecting a 'spot check' in which they are told about prior as they seem to slow down dramatically after a phone call) Do not have anything expensive where they have to hoover as they will smash it and deny all knowledge as they only use plastic ones (I have been there when they have been cleaning and they are 110% not plastic) The 5 O'clock finish time they advertise on the website isn't correct as they go home early on a Friday.

"Certainly not deep cleaned"

We booked Molly Maid to deep clean a house after the old owner moved out and before we moved in. We left them to it, but, when we got back they had had hardly cleaned anything. You could even see dust on the bannister. We complained and they sent 2 different people but, although they did a better job, they, like the previous cleaners, hadn't touched the insides of the kitchen cupboards, which we had particularly requested when booking. We spent an hour cleaning them ourselves, as we couldn't be bothered having them back yet again.

"I have used Molly Maid services for"

I have used Molly Maid services for nearly 10 years to do a monthly clean at my mother's. My mother has never felt comfortable directing them so I have had to trust them to use their innitiative and provide an honest service and acceptable level of cleaning. They have not done this and over the last couple of months the level of cleaning has become totally unacceptable even with a visit and discussion with the franchise holder. I feel the cleaners have taken advantage of my mother's inability to check on the quality of cleaning provided. They have shown a total lack of professionalism.
