"I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. GETTING HEALTH INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY? BEWARE!"

I've been paying this company for my insurance for more than a year and never claimed anything. I recommended more than 10 students (who have high trust on me and my words) as I thought the insurance is great though I never claimed anything. On December 01, 2017 (after more than a year of being with this insurance company and paying for my insurance), I had to go to emergency. The hospital and the ambulance service I used sent ISOA my bills. ISOA ignored it and requested for more details of what happened. I and the hospital sent them all their requested. ISOA then provided vague response and decided that they would pay just less than 55% of the hospital and ambulance company bills. I doubt if they even paid. Now i'm being harassed and chased to pay the remaining bills (over $1,000). The hospital and the Ambulance service company are about to send the bills to credit collectors. I tried reaching out to the customer service but no one picked up my calls. Probably they knew why I was calling as they can know the person by his phone number. Me being to the hospital on 12/1/2017 exposed who ISOA is to me. I had so much trust on ISOA as one of my previous schools (which is now closed) recommended that I get a cheap insurance from this company. I hope none of the students I recommended experienced what I've experienced with this company. Based on the information on their brochure, coverage plan, and other information, I deserve to get all my medical bills paid off by ISOA. You don't have to be a genius to add 1+1 to get 2. This company will loose nothing (money wise) paying for all my bills as I've been with them for more than a year and I think I paid more than the total bills during the over a year period of being with them.

"I have never claimed from my policy and"

I have never claimed from my policy and then my school enrolled me in a different insurance company and when I called the customer service to check whether I could cancel the policy I experienced the worst customer service ever they didn't listen to me completely and at the end they said no and didn't even ask me if I had any other questions. And moreover the iso.org website is not user friendly it had very minimal options to browse. I would not prefer this to my friends.

"This Insurance Is a Scam. They Will Never Pay."

I purchased ISO gold plan last year. I had only one doctor's visit and one medical checkup with some lab tests. ISO didn't honor the agreement and didn't pay the claim. I called them twice. They said they are still collecting information, and then it was just crickets until I received a mail saying my bill went to a debt collector agency. I had to pay the full price like I had no insurance. You are better off with no insurance than to buy this useless one. Give that money to some charity and your money will see some good use.

"Bad claim administrator led to customer dissatisfaction - customer department took care of it after my bad review."

After a bad experience with the company I made a review here and just after that, HealthSmart solutions, the company that manage the claims for Isoa plans, contacted to solve my case. In summary, I had an infection in my ear channel and they considered pre-existing condition. I kept insisting on it cause it is totally unreasonable. I sent all information, called at least 20 times and the attendants always told me that it would be reviewed and that I should call again. My physicist provided all my medical records to prove that they were being unethical and after months and months of attempts I ended up sending an appeal letter and even though they denied my claim with poor explanation. After I made this review here, Isoa finally could see my bad experience and worked with its claim administration to finally review and correct the situation. They ended up paying for all expenses after some calls and negotiations, as an attempted to diminish all inconveniences and situation that I went through. I feel comfortable now that they did it and the company image looks much better to me now. Although they demonstrated pro activity in solve a customer dissatisfaction, it is clear that there is a lot of room for improvement. It is not acceptable that a situation must be brought up this way to capture the company's customer service attention. At least there is someone dedicated and monitoring it. I sincerely hope that my case triggered some actions that will led to improvements that enhance customer experience with Isoa. Since they solved the situation after all, I updated my review to reflect the last facts.

"I'm incredibly DISGUSTED!!!"

This company is PATHETIC and does not deserve any stars!!! Affordable, but worthless.I am incredibly disgusted in their service - more their lack of service. As an international student, you expect to be able to trust ISO. I've waited 5 months for the same bill to be paid and they keep requesting MORE documents. The doctors' office has already sent their final notice about my $169 payment and is about to include a third party. I'm furious and will NEVER recommend or use them again. They will probably tell me to call or email them because they can't discuss my information publicly. Why don't you just give me an original answer? I have no faith in the success of this. At the moment, I'm stuck in bed with the flu and refuse to see a doctor because I have no energy to deal with this rubbish of a company again. I believe the reviews on their official site are FAKE.

"I must say ISO is the worst insurance "

I must say ISO is the worst insurance company.I visited a clinic 3 months back and went through diagnosis. On the day of my visit when clinic inquired with ISO they agreed they will be paying some amount.But after the diagnosis when they submitted the claim ISO rejected the claim by mentioning "The Diagnosis for which treatment was rendered is not covered under the plan".When I called up ISO they were like we don't guarantee any amount . If they don't pay for the diagnosis they should be mentioning about the same in the beginning itself.The only reason I took up this diagnosis was because ISO agreed they will paying the insurance amount.I wont suggest ISO silver to anyone unless one wants to have insurance for the sake of having one.

"Worst insurance company ever"

Worst insurance company ever. I got very sick and went to the emergency room (I couldn't walk, stand up and was in constant pain for hours)... I recently received a bill from the emergency and it was $1085. ISO would not cover because they don't think my emergency is a "true emergency". I talked to one of their customer care agents, she did not help at all with my questions and gave me false contact information. Seriously, ISO does not cover anything UNLESS you're dying. Complete garbage. I've never regretted so much before.

"THEY WILL NEVER PAY YOU"

THEY WILL NEVER PAY YOU! STAY AWAY!!! I thought I was buying an insurance, nothing like that! You might think it's cheaper than other insurances but please do not make the mistake!!! You're just wasting your money. God forbid if you need to use it. First they do not tell you what is the proper process to file a claim. My claims haven't been taken care of since March 2017, today is December 7. I had to pay all the bills myself so they don't go to collection. Dear Owner (Manager), you make it very difficult for your customers to submit claims so they finally give up and you just don't pay. Your communication system is archaic... Stated on their website: "Providing the most efficient customer care service has been ISO's primary goal" - You definitely are far from reaching that goal! And update after another interaction with their customer service: After many attempts to received a decision on my claim, they told me it's denied because of pre-existing condition. Going to urgent care with a back pain is a pre-existing condition!!! It's a shame!!!

i regret choosing this insurance policy.very irresponsible and rude . i have been calling from one year about my claim and they haven't paid at least for one visit. they have no knowledge about my case and have been repeating my issue for everyone every time like a fool.i trusted you and in return i got nothing.i sugest you to not choose them at all.worst i say

"Do not trust its brochure!!!"

Do not trust its brochure. I was sent to ER by health center of my school as I hurt my back and suffered from back pain and dizziness. I referred ISOA as my insurance company. They literally sent me the bill with $0 coverage afterwards, i.e. expenses all paid by myself. I called them to negotiate this and the customer service promised me to email me a form to complete to appeal to their decision, which never happened after the phone call.
