"Shoes in H&M? never again!"
Bought a pair of Chunky-soled boots for £39.99. Used them twice for a couple of hours and twice they left by ankles in blood and without skin. Barely could walk back home. Trashed them. Verr bad leather quality. £40 to the loo. Shoes in H&M? never again!

"Shockingly bad quality and customer service."
I have ordered plates for my Christmas Dinner. Plates arrived in half of a rain forest worth of packaging (12plates). After we've eaten and I was washing (in a sink as they would not fit in a dishwasher) and noticed the plates were badly scratched. Every movement of knives and forks clearly visible. I contacted customer service, spoke to 7 different people and no solution. Garment quality department seems to be this mythical creature, based somewhere where Internet doesn't exist so I couldn't be given a time frame for resolving the issue. Once again totally failed by quality of your items. The time before, my then 6 month old baby choked on the ending of a string from his shorts I purchased in hm. All i got was apologies and promises of looking into the matter. The shorts were still available on their website and stores next season. Until this point I regret not suing for endangering my child's life. I've had enough of shocking and dangerous quality of your products and useless customer service and after 11 years of custom I am out.

"No refund on sale price."
Purchased an item a few days before it was reduced by £10.00 in the sale. I was declined a partial refund and asked to return the jacket at a time when it would be too late to return and re-order at the lower price for Christmas. Issue should be solved by a simple £10.00 partial refund. Very disappointed.

"Many options"
Many options, many basics and lot of modern pieces. Really recommend this store!! I've been in H&M stores from france and Uk till now and i'm very happy with the quality of their clothes!

"I like H&M"
The stores are always stocked with a good selection @ really reasonable prices, staff are helpful & returns are easy. "¢ Could do with some more 'better fitting' guys clothes, many items are wide & short when really you'd want thin & slightly longer.

"Clothes are okay but delivery is awful"
Clothes are okay (cotton clothing often tears easy though) but realn disappointment is that on online orders they use myhermes as their delivery agent. I have had nothing but problems with my parcels - h&m chose this delivery agent over royal so a bit disappointed by this.

"An update"
To call them will take approx 20 mins before you will be able to speak, emails have been ignored. When eventually you do speak to somebody, they cant really help, and in my case they have provided with a misleading information about my payment. Update: The problem has been resolved, pleased with an offer.

"Cannot Return Faulty Clothing"
I bought a pair of boys pyjamas from H&M and after one wash the garment had holes in it. I went to the store within 28 days from purchase date to explain this to them and since (as per their T&Cs of sale) it was not in a RESALABLE CONDITION, they would not even exchange it for half the purchase price, a gift card or another item from the store. I have bought items from H&M before and this was the first time their clothing left me disappointed. I wouldn't have bothered, but I felt that the material used for said pyjamas was not up to standard. Also, they do not have an email receipt to customer policy when you purchase items in-store in case you lose your receipt. And is what happened to me in this instance, but I could prove that I did purchase the item on the date I mentioned by showing my bank statement, which they refused. Even if I had my receipt, they would still not accept the item even though it was faulty and didn't last a reasonable amount of time. Wear and tear just happened TOO SOON in my opinion. I have other clothing from H&M and they are all fine even after a few washes. As a customer, being made to feel that it is all about profit margin rather than keeping me on as a customer quite disappointing. Let's just say, I will not be shopping in H&M anytime soon.
