"Avoid at all cost! Costly and horrendous customer service"

Avoid at all cost. I have complained to this awful company because I needed to add a business insurance on my car and change address. I had to pay a further £248 to do so. Following my complaint, I received a condescending reply from a certain Cunnigham something telling to basically buy insurance somewhere else if I was not happy about it. Surely if every single customer would stop buying from them he would not dare saying this. Those companies believe that they are above the customers and it is about time that something is done to make them respect their customers.

"Fantastic"

I cannot thank Ageas enough. Car was written off a few weeks ago and they have been nothing but helpful. Although their first settlement offer was low, I challenged it and they agreed to pay what I thought the car was worth in full. Abby from the total loss team is an absolute star. A + rating.

"UNFAIRLY VOIDED MY POLICY"

Anyone who read this: DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY They are the underwriter for my car insurance policy. After been insured for 3 months, I received a letter asking me to send them a list of documents the very same day else they would void my policy. I did not have all the documents with me on that day, then they voided my policy. Their hasty decision has left a black mark on my insurance record i.e. my premium has more than doubled and I cannot get any temporary cover. AVOID AGEAS AT ALL COSTS

"APPALLING COMPANY; SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TREATMENT"

If I could give ageas a minus on the rating I would.They are a rouge insurance company and should be avoided at all costs. My partner has had a non fault accident 6 months ago. It not only took them 6 months to get back to him they have now been delaying the case for the last 2 months causing us an enormous amount of stress. I would have never thought that your own insurance company can be so cruel and calculating and so against you. When I had a non-fault accident, my insurance company has never even got involved. The other party has accepted full responsibility and my car was repaired within 2 weeks and I had full use of a courtesy car for the whole duration. They even extended it FOC because my MOT has expired while my car was in the garage allowing me to sort it out. The way ageas has been treating us is absolutely appalling.We have been lied to, cheated and belittled by them and as soon as we can we will change for someone else. I'd rather walk everywhere than to be associated with them again. We'll be looking into the FOS and complain through them. Beware of them is all I can say!!!

"Ageas and Swinton completely let us"

Ageas and Swinton completely let us down. After a claim they gave us no hire car and it took 6 days to write the car off so we were left 6 days without a car and that delayed my wife driving again which knocked her confidence after the accident. Ageas also didn't pass my complaint into Swinton saying we would never use them again resulting in us having to pay the more on the policy after the claim. Every time I complained they never took me seriously and they never did anything to repair the dissatisfaction we received from their poor service. Every time they just fobbed us off with the financial Ombudsman which we will look into. Swinton were the insurers and Ageas dealt with the claim and they just blamed each other but did nothing about it. I would never ever use these again and it's obvious to me they don't care about being decent as long as they are making easy money from their customers.

"Car accident - great service"

Hit from behind in my car. Ageas took car to Halo in Bognor. Next day it was all repaiered, clean and returned. Brilliant

"broken tiles on roof"

broken tiles on roof - Told wind has to be in excess of 65mph to make a claim. surveyor never even went into loft to inspect the tiles. water coming through ceiling. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

"You cannot ring for help if you have problems online."

I was was unpleasantly surprised that it was impossible to speak to anyone when I had problems accessing my account online. In my situation when the pc had crashed this was terrible as I urgently needed to access the policy documents.
