I recently had to make a claim for damage to my sofa, the advise I spoke to was polite and personable and kept in touch throughout the process. I cannot fault her helpfulness and efficiency, gold standard service. They also arranged for independent inspections to come and evaluate the damage after contractors were trying to charge me just for a quote. Great service and quickly resolved. Would highly recommend Pauline the Ageas advisor and Alun Williams the inspector both of whom were excellent.

"Excellent service"
Had to claim of my insurance for an accident. Neither my wife or myself have ever had to claim, so didn't really know what to do. Contacted Ageas and they sorted everything for us. They instructed a local garage to drop of a loan car and take ours away. They told us that we didn't need to pay the excess until we were completely happy with the work the company did on car. The garage dropped our car off and picked the loan car up. Everything was perfect and couldn't fault any of the process. They just made everything easy. I don't to call them again!! But if i had to, i know that i would get looked after.

"AGEAS are a truly shocking company, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!"
Not one for reviews normally but had to on this occasion because this company AGEAS is SO POOR! Had a storm last night, water ingress into roof and flooded ceiling and floor in lounge affecting electric items and causing general damage. Called AGEAS and the company said there was no storm according to their 'impartial' weather data provider weathernet (who appear to be an organisation run for the insurance industries benefit). I found Rude, Supercilious and Condescending staff with ZERO empathy at AGEAS. A waste of time. Do not use this company and do not believe the false positive reviews you may see of them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, BECAUSE WITH THIS COMPANY YOU WILL HAVE NO REAL WORLD INSURANCE COVER WITH THEM!

"Camper van insurance with Ageas"
I have camper van insurance with Ageas, to travel around Europe, including windscreen replacement. I just wanted to leave a review to express how happy i was with this service when our windscreen needed replacing in Croatia a couple of weeks ago. Sadly Ageas do not have local affiliates anywhere outside of the UK so we had to find a company ourselves. However, when I called Ageas to make them aware that we had been quoted 600 euros for the work to be carried out, they were fine with this, even though they usually only cover up to £150 for a replacement windscreen. All i had to do was send photos of the cracked windscreen and invoice and they have sent a cheque three days later. Their customer service team were also brilliant, really helpful and reassuring in a pretty stressful time.

"Not to be trusted!"
I had a non fault car crash which they handled for me. They took a massive chunk of the final payout - more than I had seems larger than they had warned of. The biggest problem is they have failed to pay me the remainder of the compensation. When I call the office they say someone will call you back, which they never do. Really worried now they are just trying to scam people. Now when I call their office it just cuts me off straight away.

If you ever have a car accident...... you really do not want to be insured or have legal cover by Ageas Law... They are beyond rubbish........ Medical report states broken bones from accident... some muppet is trying to i had no broken bones....... Absolute waste of space, and 3 years on still having arguements... Ombudsman now involved.. Screw you Ageas Law
